Lifeline Animal Project Offering FREE Adoptions

LIFELINE ANIMAL PROJECT OFFERING FREE ADOPTIONS IN PREPARATION FOR UPCOMING FULTON COUNTY SHELTER RENOVATION

Free Adoptions until Super Bowl Sunday on Hundreds of Select Pets at both DeKalb and Fulton County Animal Services

ATLANTA, GA – (January 17, 2019)  LifeLine Animal Project is asking for the support of the Atlanta community to help get animals out of the Fulton shelter and into loving homes before upcoming renovations. In celebration of the upcoming Super Bowl, the shelter is offering free adoptions on select dog and cat MVPs (most valuable pets) at the Fulton County Animal Services shelter, now through Super Bowl Sunday!  An MVP is any dog or cat with a football sticker on their cage card. MVPs are already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and can leave the shelter today!  About 100 MVPs will also be available at LifeLine’s DeKalb County Animal Services shelter which is caring for a higher number of animals than usual and is also in need of adopters.

The renovations at the Fulton shelter, which are being conducted by Fulton County government to address rodent issues, will involve removing all ceilings in the front of the building and replacing them with an open concept to prevent any further issues.  This will provide a better experience for guests, cut down on odors and improve the overall shelter environment. To adopt a shelter pet and save a life, please drop by Fulton County Animal Services, 860 Marietta Blvd in Atlanta, DeKalb County Animal Services, 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd in Chamblee or the LifeLine Dog House & Kitty Motel, 129 Lake Street in Avondale Estates.  For more information, please visit LifeLineAnimal.org.
